Start Transport — Corporate Site & Automation

Corporate website and internal automation tools for a transport company. Modern Angular + Material Design frontend, Django backend.

Project Context

This project came via referral from Idea‑SR, validating prior work and expanding my portfolio into transport logistics.

The company needed a modern public presence and tools to automate internal workflows.

Goal

Deliver a corporate site and automation for:

  • Presenting services
  • Automating request intake and pricing
  • Managing internal operations
  • Using a current‑gen tech stack for professional UX

Solution

Corporate Site

Sections: services, fleet and routes, price calculator, online request, contacts.

Functionality: pricing calculator, contact/request forms, order status, company advantages.

Automation Tools

Internal systems: request management, route planning, fleet registry, documents and reports.

Tech

Frontend — Angular + Material Design

SPA architecture, components via directives, two‑way binding for forms, router navigation.

Material Design for consistent UX, ready components, responsive grid, smooth transitions.

In 2015, Angular + Material Design were at their peak for corporate web apps, providing polished UX and rich interactivity.

Backend — Django

REST API, admin for CMS, business logic for requests, integrations; PostgreSQL for orders, customers, fleet, and history.

Results

Business: modern corporate site, automated intake and processing, improved brand perception, tools to optimize operations.

Technical: Angular in production, Material patterns implemented, SPA ↔ Django integration, reusable components.

Takeaways

Capable with modern frontend frameworks and design systems (for that era); referrals matter; a “standard corporate site” can stand out with strong UX and structure.
